Residential Preferred Properties was founded by Pat Richter. Family has always been a top priority with Pat and working with family has brought great joy as she shares her love of working in real estate with her immediate family. Husband Don has been the accountant and financial guide to the business since his retirement from the National Archives.

Son, Steve Richter, has worked in property management and association management since his graduation from college.

Michael Richter has been a Realtor since he was 18 years old. He is actively pursing his Broker's license and is heading up the Property Managment division. His passion is football and he coaches local high school football during his free time.

Son John Richter is a real estate attorney in the area with offices in Burke, Springfield, Lorton and Chantilly. Along with his wife Cathy, he is our go to person for all your legal questions and services.

In short, Residential Preferred Properties has three generations of family working together to help you with ALL your real estate needs.
